Glastonbury Festival, formerly known as Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts, is arguably the largest and best-known music festival in all of the UK. The five-day festival has nearly 100 different stages and attracts thousands of music lovers from around the world each year. ‘Glasto’ is held annually in Pilton, Somerset (UK). Unique about Glastonbury Festival is that it not only hosts music performances, but also hosts theater, comedy, cabaret, dance shows, circus and many more types of acts. Everywhere you walk at the festival site is something new to explore. Another plus is that the festival is located in beautiful green surroundings.
