2000trees Music Festival, or Two Thousand Trees, is a multi award winning music festival held in Upcote Farm, Withington (UK). The festival won many prizes, including: UK Festival Grass Roots Festival Award & UK Festival Award for Best Medium-Sized Festival. The festival was founded by a group of friends who experience the same love for music and festivals. The group, consisting of 6 music lovers, were tired of every festival being so overpriced and that the mainstream festivals cared more about profit than about its festival-goers. ”We are still just 6 music-loving guys who want to put on an amazing festival and party with like-minded individuals”, says the group on their website.
Every year, a diverse range of 120 bands come to this festival to perform. The genres that take center stage at this festival are alternative rock and indie, but you will also encounter artists from other similar genres here.
